With the recreational-vehicle industry coming off its best year in almost a decade, luxury is back in the world of wheel-estate.

From Bluetooth sound systems and outdoor kitchens to custom cabinetry and raised patios, RVs offer the comforts of home for those who want to take home with them.

“They just keep getting bigger and bigger,” said Dean Tennison, owner of Specialty RV Sales in Canal Winchester, which sells the $450,000 Haulmark Status model that caught the Hills’ eyes at the recent Ohio RV and Boat Show in Columbus.
